Pakka Khata™ is a product owned and operated by Techzoq (Private) Limited, a Pakistan-registered private limited company. The Pakka Khata™ trademark application is currently pending registration with the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) of Pakistan.
By using Pakka Khata™, you agree to enter into a legally binding agreement with Techzoq (Private) Limited. All references in these Terms to “we”, “us”, “our”, “the Company”, or “the Provider” refer to Techzoq (Private) Limited in its capacity as operator of Pakka Khata™.
All official communications regarding these Terms should be directed to the email addresses provided here, which use the @techzoq.com domain, the official email domain of Techzoq (Private) Limited.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service are a binding agreement between you and Techzoq (Private) Limited for your use of Pakka Khata™. By creating an account, signing up for a trial, subscribing to a paid plan, inviting staff, entering ledger data, using the App, using the website, or continuing to use the Service, you accept these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old. If you use Pakka Khata™ for a business, mandi shop, firm, partnership, company, or family trade, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.
2. Definitions and Glossary
- Pakka Khata™ means the digital ledger product owned and operated by Techzoq (Private) Limited, with trademark registration pending before IPO Pakistan.
- The Service, the App, or the Platform means Pakka Khata™ web, mobile, APIs, dashboards, reports, sync, backup, support, WhatsApp/SMS features, and related services.
- Operator, Company, Provider, we, us, or our means Techzoq (Private) Limited.
- Account means a user or business profile created to access Pakka Khata™.
- Subscription means a Free Tier, Pro Plan, Business Plan, trial, add-on, or paid package.
- User means an owner, admin, manager, accountant, helper, viewer, staff member, or other person using Pakka Khata™.
- Khata means ledger or account book; bardana means sacks; tulai means weighing; arhat means commission; jama means credit entry; udhaar means debit or amount owed; baqaya means outstanding balance.
- Adhati means commission agent; mandi means wholesale agricultural market; phari means sub-broker; beopari means trader; boli means auction; kissan means farmer.
- Data Controller means the party that decides why and how data is processed. Data Processor means the party that processes data for a controller.
3. Legal Entity Disclosure
Pakka Khata™ is a product, not a separate legal entity. All contractual obligations under these Terms are with Techzoq (Private) Limited, the operating company. Pakka Khata™ has no separate legal personality.
The Pakka Khata™ trademark is currently pending registration with IPO Pakistan. All trademark rights, common law and pending statutory, are claimed by Techzoq (Private) Limited.
All official email communications regarding Pakka Khata™ are sent from and received at @techzoq.com domain addresses, which are the official email addresses of Techzoq (Private) Limited. Users should not trust communications from any other domain claiming to represent Pakka Khata™.
4. Service Description
Pakka Khata™ is a digital double-entry ledger and bookkeeping SaaS application for Pakistani adhatis, traders, mandi businesses, and small business owners. The Service is designed to replace paper ledgers with structured digital records, business reports, cloud sync, staff permissions, and audit-friendly workflows.
- Digital khata management and multi-party account tracking.
- Sales, purchases, payments, advances, expenses, journals, and transaction categorization.
- Commission, arhat, bardana, tulai, mandi fee, and deduction tracking.
- Reports, analytics, party balances, receivables, payables, stock, and accounting summaries.
- Cloud backup, multi-device sync, offline-first workflows where supported, and optional Kissan Market marketplace integration.
- WhatsApp integration for user-initiated customer communications, payment reminders, receipts, and balance confirmations.
5. Eligibility and Account Registration
- You must provide accurate account, business, CNIC, mobile, and payment information where requested.
- You must operate a lawful business or use Pakka Khata™ for lawful personal/business recordkeeping.
- Techzoq (Private) Limited may require CNIC, business, mandi, license, or payment verification before approving or continuing access.
- You should not create duplicate accounts to evade plan limits, billing, verification, restrictions, or enforcement.
- Techzoq (Private) Limited may reject, suspend, limit, or close accounts that provide false information or create compliance risk.
6. Account Security and Responsibility
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, OTPs, devices, SIM cards, WhatsApp account, biometric lock, staff accounts, and business permissions. Techzoq (Private) Limited will not ask for wallet PINs, bank passwords, card PINs, or OTPs sent by third-party providers.
- Enable multi-factor authentication or biometric lock where available.
- Notify contact@pakkakhata.com immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for actions taken through your account or by staff you authorize, unless caused by our proven security failure.
- Do not share one account across multiple unrelated businesses or unauthorized persons.
7. User Roles and Permissions
- Owner: full access to business data, billing, staff, settings, exports, and deletion requests.
- Manager: edit and view access according to permissions granted by the owner.
- Accountant: add and manage entries according to assigned business permissions.
- Helper or Viewer: limited view or data-entry access as configured.
- Owners and admins are responsible for assigning, reviewing, and revoking staff access when roles change.
- Pakka Khata™ may log staff actions for audit, security, and accountability.
8. Subscription Plans and Billing
Pakka Khata™ may offer a Free Tier, Pro Plan, Business Plan, trial plans, add-ons, promotional offers, or enterprise packages. Pricing is displayed in Pakistani Rupees unless stated otherwise.
- Free Tier may include limited transactions, users, storage, reports, exports, support, or features.
- Pro Plan may include unlimited or higher limits, advanced reports, backups, exports, and priority features.
- Business Plan may include multi-user, multi-mandi, enterprise, staff, reporting, and advanced controls.
- Payment methods may include JazzCash, EasyPaisa, bank transfer, card, app store billing, or other approved channels.
- Auto-renewal may apply to paid plans. If enabled, your plan renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Renewal notices may be sent in-app, by email, SMS, WhatsApp, app store notification, or billing provider notification.
- Cancellations stop future billing but do not automatically refund past charges unless refund eligibility applies.
- Refunds may be prorated or limited depending on duplicate payment, failed activation, billing error, legal requirement, or a written offer shown at purchase time.
- Trial-to-paid conversion may occur only where you agreed to paid conversion terms or entered a payment method under a flow that clearly discloses conversion.
9. Free Trial Terms
- Free trials may last 14 to 30 days, depending on the offer shown at signup.
- Trial features may be limited by users, transactions, exports, reports, storage, or support level.
- At trial expiration, access may downgrade, pause, or convert to a paid plan according to the terms shown during signup.
- Trial data may be preserved for a reasonable period so you can subscribe or export, subject to deletion and retention rules.
- Techzoq (Private) Limited may prevent repeated trial abuse or duplicate trial accounts.
10. Pricing and Fees
- Plan pricing is shown in PKR unless clearly stated otherwise.
- Taxes, GST, withholding, payment gateway fees, and bank/wallet charges may apply where legally or operationally relevant.
- Promotional pricing applies only for the period and conditions stated in the offer.
- We aim to provide 30 days’ notice before material price increases for existing paid subscribers, unless changes are required by law, tax, app store rules, or payment provider changes.
11. User Data and Khata Ownership
Users own their business khata data. Pakka Khata™ provides software, storage, sync, reports, backups, export tools, and processing services. Techzoq (Private) Limited does not claim ownership of your ledger records, customer lists, balances, invoices, or transaction details.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate entries, reviewing reports, exporting records when needed, and keeping independent backups for critical business continuity where appropriate.
12. Acceptable Use Policy
- Use Pakka Khata™ only for lawful business records and legitimate bookkeeping.
- Do not create fictitious entries, manipulate balances, hide transactions, falsify receipts, or misuse reports for fraud.
- Do not use Pakka Khata™ for money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, illegal trade, bribery, or deceptive accounting.
- Do not send spam, harassment, threats, or misleading WhatsApp/SMS messages through Pakka Khata™.
- Do not upload malware, illegal content, stolen data, or unauthorized third-party information.
13. Prohibited Conduct
- Falsifying khata entries, invoices, payments, stock, journal entries, bardana, tulai, or party balances.
- Using Pakka Khata™ to support tax evasion, AML/CFT violations, illegal payments, or regulatory avoidance.
- Accessing another business’s data without permission.
- Scraping, hacking, reverse engineering, copying, reselling, sublicensing, or disrupting the Service.
- Creating duplicate accounts to avoid billing, limits, sanctions, or verification.
- Sharing one account across unrelated businesses.
- Using Pakka Khata™ branding, name, logo, or confusingly similar marks without written permission.
14. Third-Party Data Responsibility
Pakka Khata™ allows adhatis and traders to store data about farmers, buyers, suppliers, pharis, beoparis, staff, transporters, and other third parties. The user is responsible for having a lawful basis to store and process that information.
For third-party customer records, the user generally acts as data controller and Techzoq (Private) Limited acts as processor or service provider. Users must handle data subject requests, consent obligations, correction requests, and deletion requests responsibly. Techzoq (Private) Limited will support verified requests where legally and technically possible.
15. WhatsApp Communications via Pakka Khata™
- Primary users must opt in before receiving WhatsApp communications from Pakka Khata™.
- Users are responsible for ensuring their customers have consented to receive WhatsApp messages before initiating communications via Pakka Khata™.
- WhatsApp communications via Pakka Khata™ are subject to Meta’s WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, template rules, anti-spam rules, opt-in rules, and customer service windows.
- Recipients may opt out by replying STOP, BAND KARO, ROK DO, or another supported opt-out instruction.
- Techzoq (Private) Limited may apply reasonable sending limits, frequency caps, anti-spam filters, and account restrictions.
16. Intellectual Property
Pakka Khata™ branding, software, interface, workflows, documentation, logos, designs, reports, templates, and technology are owned by or licensed to Techzoq (Private) Limited. The App and software are licensed, not sold.
The Pakka Khata™ trademark is currently pending registration with IPO Pakistan. All trademark rights, common law and pending statutory, are claimed by Techzoq (Private) Limited. Users are prohibited from using the Pakka Khata™ name, logo, or branding in any commercial capacity without express written permission.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
The Pakka Khata™ Privacy Policy explains how Techzoq (Private) Limited collects, uses, secures, shares, exports, and deletes data. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms by reference. We use security controls such as encryption, access controls, business isolation, audit logs, and incident response procedures, but no online system is completely risk-free.
18. Service Availability
- Free Tier is provided on a best-effort basis without uptime commitment.
- Pro Plan target uptime is 99% monthly availability, excluding scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, force majeure, and user-side issues.
- Business Plan target uptime is 99.5% monthly availability, excluding scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, force majeure, and user-side issues.
- Scheduled maintenance may be announced in-app, by email, WhatsApp, SMS, or status notice where practical.
- Techzoq (Private) Limited is not responsible for internet outages, device failure, telecom disruption, payment provider downtime, app store outages, or cloud provider issues outside reasonable control.
19. Backups and Data Recovery
Pakka Khata™ may provide automatic cloud backups and recovery tools. Users remain responsible for checking that important records are saved, syncing correctly, and exporting critical business records when needed. Recovery time depends on issue severity, data volume, infrastructure status, and plan level.
20. Modifications to Service
Techzoq (Private) Limited may add, remove, improve, rename, limit, or modify Pakka Khata™ features. We aim to provide 30 days’ notice for material changes that significantly reduce paid-plan functionality, unless urgent changes are required for security, compliance, legal, app store, or provider reasons. Grandfathering may be offered but is not guaranteed unless stated in writing.
21. Account Suspension and Termination
- Grounds for suspension include non-payment, abuse, fraud, suspicious activity, prohibited conduct, security risk, legal request, data misuse, messaging abuse, or violation of these Terms.
- We may give notice where practical, but urgent suspension may occur without notice to protect users, data, or legal compliance.
- Appeals may be sent to contact@pakkakhata.com.
- After termination, you may receive a 30-day export grace period unless access is restricted for fraud, legal, security, or abuse reasons.
- Eligible data may be permanently deleted within 90 days after closure, subject to backups and legal retention.
- Certain records may be retained for five or more years for FBR, tax, audit, accounting, AML/CFT, dispute, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
22. User-Initiated Account Closure
- You may request account closure or subscription cancellation through available self-service tools or support.
- Export your khata data before requesting deletion where possible.
- Refund eligibility depends on duplicate billing, failed activation, billing error, legal requirement, or a written refund offer shown at purchase time.
- Subscription cancellation does not automatically delete accounting records that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud, or dispute reasons.
23. Disclaimers and Warranties
Pakka Khata™ is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. It is a digital tool to assist with recordkeeping. The accuracy of all entries, calculations, reports, and balances is the sole responsibility of the user. Techzoq (Private) Limited makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of khata records maintained by users.
Pakka Khata™ is not a tax preparation, tax advisory, legal advisory, audit certification, banking, payment institution, or debt recovery service. Reports generated by the Service are informational only. Users should consult qualified accountants, lawyers, and tax professionals where needed.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techzoq (Private) Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, business interruption, lost profit, lost data, lost goodwill, tax dispute, accounting error, third-party claim, customer payment failure, or business loss damages.
Our total liability for paid services is limited to the subscription fees you paid for Pakka Khata™ during the three months before the claim arose, or PKR 50,000, whichever is lower. For free services, our liability is limited to PKR 1,000 unless applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Techzoq (Private) Limited, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and providers from claims, losses, penalties, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of Pakka Khata™, false entries, unlawful processing of third-party data, tax or AML violations, unauthorized staff access, WhatsApp misuse, payment disputes, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.
26. Tax Compliance Disclaimer
Pakka Khata™ is a recordkeeping tool. It is not a tax preparation or tax advisory service. Reports generated by the Service are informational only and are not certified financial statements, tax filings, audit opinions, or government submissions.
Users are responsible for FBR compliance, income tax, sales tax, withholding tax, record retention, invoices, receipts, provincial obligations, and professional review. We recommend consulting qualified tax professionals for tax matters.
27. AML and Regulatory Compliance
Users are responsible for complying with applicable SBP, FBR, AML/CFT, provincial agricultural marketing, and business regulations. High-value transaction reporting, suspicious activity reporting, licensing, and tax obligations remain the user’s responsibility. Techzoq (Private) Limited may suspend suspicious activities and cooperate with lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.
28. Dispute Resolution
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact contact@pakkakhata.com and attempt informal resolution. If unresolved, the parties may attempt mediation. Formal disputes may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1940 where applicable. Subject to mandatory law, courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan will have jurisdiction.
29. Modifications to Terms
Techzoq (Private) Limited may update these Terms. We may notify users through Pakka Khata™, in-app messages, email, WhatsApp, SMS, website notice, or billing provider notice. We aim to provide 30 days’ notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
30. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Pakistani law, including the Contract Act 1872, Companies Act 2017, Income Tax Ordinance 2001, PECA 2016, applicable State Bank of Pakistan rules, Meta WhatsApp Business policies, Apple App Store and Google Play policies, provincial agricultural marketing laws where applicable, IPO trademark regulations, and AML/CFT regulations where relevant.
31. Force Majeure
Techzoq (Private) Limited is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, droughts, pandemics, government restrictions, telecom outages, internet failures, cloud provider issues, payment provider outages, power failures, war, civil unrest, strikes, regulatory changes, or app store restrictions.
32. General Provisions
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, billing terms, and any service-specific written terms form the entire agreement for Pakka Khata™.
- If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- You may not assign your rights without our written consent. Techzoq (Private) Limited may assign these Terms in connection with merger, restructuring, investment, sale, or business transfer.
- Official notices must be sent to @techzoq.com addresses listed in these Terms.
- English is the authoritative language. Urdu or Roman Urdu explanations may be provided for understanding.
- These Terms do not create third-party beneficiary rights unless expressly stated.

34. Acknowledgement and Acceptance
By creating an account, subscribing, using a trial, entering khata data, inviting staff, sending WhatsApp messages through Pakka Khata™, exporting reports, or continuing to use the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
